2. The service

Swagman's Shelf is a free ebook price tracking service for Australian readers. We monitor publicly available prices on Kobo AU and Google Play Books and send email alerts when prices change on books in your personal watchlist.

3. Eligibility

The service is intended for Australian residents aged 16 and over. By creating an account you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

5. Price accuracy

We make every effort to display accurate and current pricing information. However:

• Prices are checked once daily and may not reflect real-time changes
• Prices displayed may differ from actual retailer prices at the time of purchase
• We are not responsible for any purchase decisions made based on our price data
• Always verify the current price directly with the retailer before purchasing

6. Affiliate relationships

Swagman's Shelf is applying to retailer affiliate programs (Rakuten Advertising for Kobo AU, and Google Play Books if a public affiliate path becomes available). When a program is live, clicking a purchase link and completing a purchase may earn Swagman's Shelf a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never affect the price you pay or which books we track.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code on Swagman's Shelf is owned by us or our licensors. Book titles, covers, and descriptions are the property of their respective publishers and are displayed for informational purposes only.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Swagman's Shelf is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at contact@swagmansshelf.com.au.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.

12. Changes to terms
